Reina Ueda (上田 麗奈, Ueda Reina), born on January 17, 1994, is a prolific Japanese voice actress and singer who hails from Toyama Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce and began her voice acting career in 2012, quickly rising to prominence after securing her first main role as Naru Sekiya in the 2014 anime series Hanayamata. Her notable and diverse roles include fan-favorite characters such as Kanao Tsuyuri in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Akane Shinjō in SSSS.Gridman, Mira Yurizaki in Dimension W, Hane Sakura in Bakuon!!, Shiori Shinomiya in Sakura Quest, Mallow in Pokémon: Sun & Moon, and Reze in Chainsaw Man. She has also voiced Miyo Saimori in My Happy Marriage and the character Ganyu in the video game Genshin Impact. Her contributions to the industry were recognized when she was one of the recipients of the Best New Actress Award at the 9th Seiyu Awards in 2015. In addition to her voice work, she also maintains a singing career, active since 2016, and is signed to the Lantis label.
