Erika "Riki" Lindhome is an American actress, comedian, and musician, best known as one half of the comedy folk duo Garfunkel and Oates alongside Kate Micucci. Born in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, and raised in Portville, New York, Lindhome graduated from Portville High School in 1997 and went on to earn a degree in communications and film from Syracuse University in 2000. Her acting career began in the early 2000s with minor television roles on shows like Titus and Buffy the Vampire Slayer before landing her feature film debut in the 2004 Academy Award-winning film Million Dollar Baby, where she played Mardell Fitzgerald. Lindhome has also appeared in other films such as The Last House on the Left, Knives Out, and Star Trek: Nemesis.On television, her notable guest-starring roles include Ramona Nowitzki on The Big Bang Theory and Juliet on Gilmore Girls. She also co-created and starred in the Comedy Central period sitcom Another Period with Natasha Leggero. More recently, she gained recognition for starring as Dr. Valerie Kinbott in the Netflix series Wednesday and for voicing Kimberly Harris in the animated series Duncanville.As a musician, she performs as "Garfunkel" in the comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates, which she formed with Kate Micucci in 2007. The duo's satirical songs, often featuring Lindhome on acoustic guitar and vocals, gained popularity on YouTube and led to an eponymous television series on IFC. In her personal life, Lindhome married comedian Fred Armisen in 2022 and has a son, born via surrogate in March 2022. She is also of Swedish and Norwegian descent.
