Rikiya Koyama

Rikiya Koyama ($\text{小山 力也}$, Koyama Rikiya, born December 18, 1963) is an acclaimed Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator affiliated with the Haiyuza Theatre Company, celebrated for his distinctive deep and resonant voice. Beginning his career in the late 1980s with his debut as an actor in the live-action series Kamen Rider Black RX, his focus soon shifted heavily toward voice acting, particularly in the realm of foreign film dubbing where he became the official Japanese dub-over artist for prominent Hollywood actors such as Kiefer Sutherland (most notably as Jack Bauer in 24) and George Clooney. Koyama's prolific anime and video game work includes numerous leading and fan-favorite roles, most famously the second voice for the detective Kogoro Mouri in Case Closed (Detective Conan) since 2009, Yamato in Naruto Shippuden, Ging Freecss in Hunter × Hunter (2011), Kiritsugu Emiya in the Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night franchises, Mamoru Takamura in Hajime no Ippo, and Taiga Saejima in the Yakuza video game series. His talent for playing both stern, good-hearted mentors and imposing, massive villains has earned him widespread recognition, including the prestigious Kei Tomiyama Memorial Award at the 5th Seiyu Awards in 2011.
