Ronald Patrick Thompson
Ronald Patrick Thompson was born on May 18, 1981, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He is of Caribbean descent on his mother's side and has a combination of Russian and Austrian heritage on his father's side. Ronald spent his early childhood in and around Montreal until the age of twelve, after which his family moved to Cornwall, Ontario, where he lived from ages twelve to nineteen. During this time, he attended Gladstone Public School and Cornwall Collegiate & Vocational School (CCVS), notably the same two schools as fellow actor Ryan Gosling, and both were part of CCVS's "Program of The Arts" acting program, though not concurrently. In high school, Ronald was actively involved in sports, excelling in track & field and basketball as both a player and a coach, earning gold medals in basketball and the 4 x 100 relay in his graduating year. After high school, he returned to Montreal and attended Dawson College, where a torn ACL during a basketball tryout for the AA Men's team altered his path. Subsequently, Ronald spent five and a half years in Taiwan teaching English and exploring Southeast Asia and Europe. In 2008, he moved to Vancouver, enrolled in New Image College's professional acting program, and is currently represented by Trisko Talent Management. His acting credits include appearances in Supernatural, Fringe, Rogue, Six, and Travelers, and in Valiant One (2025) he played the role of Milner.
