Rossif Sutherland
Rossif Racette-Sutherland is a Canadian actor, born on September 25, 1978, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is the son of actors Donald Sutherland and Francine Racette, and is the brother of Angus Sutherland and Roeg Sutherland, as well as the paternal half-brother of actor Kiefer Sutherland. He was named after director Frédéric Rossif and spent his childhood in Paris starting from the age of seven, which is why he is fluent in French. He attended Princeton University, where he studied philosophy. His acting career, which began in 2003, includes a recurring role on the television show ER during its tenth season, and notable TV appearances as Nostradamus on Reign and Detective Pen Martin on King. More recently, he has starred as Karl Alberg in the Canadian-produced crime drama Murder in a Small Town (2024–2025). His filmography includes Poor Boy's Game, High Life, Hyena Road, and River, for which he received a Canadian Screen Award nomination in 2016. He also played Malcolm in the 2025 folk horror film Keeper. Sutherland married British actress and Reign co-star Celina Sinden in February 2016, and they have one son.
