Samson Kayo
Samson Kayo is a British actor, writer, and producer renowned for his contributions to British television comedy. Born on June 20, 1991, in Peckham, London, he is of Nigerian descent. Initially aspiring to be a footballer, Kayo's passion shifted towards comedy, influenced by figures like Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, and British comedian Jocelyn Jee Esien. He was also a childhood friend of actor John Boyega, with whom he attended church. Kayo's career gained momentum with his role as Boss Fury in the 2013 Channel 4 comedy Youngers. He further showcased his versatility in the BBC sketch show Famalam (2017–2020), earning a BAFTA nomination for Best Male Comedy Performance in 2018. He co-created, wrote, and starred in the sitcoms Sliced (2019–2020) and Bloods (2021–2022), with Bloods winning the Royal Television Society Award for Best Male Comedy Performance in 2022.
