She completed her secondary education at De La Salle High School and later attended Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Theater. Rappold developed her acting skills through community theater, where she took on roles such as Eurydice in Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses and Susan in Wendy Wasserstein's The Heidi Chronicles. Shortly before graduating from LSU, she secured a leading role in her first film, the 2008 fantasy thriller Warbirds, where she played a World War II pilot named Betsy Quigley. Rappold has since built a substantial career in both film and television, often benefiting from the increased production in the New Orleans area, where she remains based and is also known to perform with a local wedding band, having had five years of voice lessons. Her selected filmography includes roles in major productions like Fantastic Four (2015), Bad Moms (2016), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), Deep Water (2022), and The Boogeyman (2023), in which she portrayed Cara Harper via camera footage.
