So Hee-jung (Korean: 소희정) is a veteran South Korean actress born on May 28, 1973, in Seoul, South Korea. She is highly respected for her extensive work in theater, film, and television, specializing in nuanced supporting roles often portraying mothers, wives, or other authoritative figures. She began her career in theater in 1994, establishing a strong foundation in stage acting, and is an alumna of University of Suwon's Department of Theater and Film, having also completed coursework at Dongguk University Graduate School. She transitioned to screen work, making her television debut in 2006 and her film debut in 2011 with the movie Sunny. Her prominent television roles include being cast in highly-rated dramas such as The Heirs (2013), Angry Mom (2015), The K2 (2016), Bossam: Steal the Fate (2021), and Twenty-Five Twenty-One (2022).
