Stephen Phillips
Stephen Phillips is a prominent Australian actor, voice artist, performance-maker, director, and teacher, based in Melbourne. A 2002 graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, School of Drama, he has built an extensive career in both theatre and screen.On stage, Phillips has worked with numerous main-stage Australian theatre companies, including Melbourne Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare, Malthouse Theatre, Black Swan, and Belvoir, and has also toured internationally. His diverse television and film credits include roles in popular series such as "Neighbours" (where he has played multiple characters), "Winners & Losers," "Jack Irish," "The Leftovers," "House Husbands," "Thai Cave Rescue," and "Apple Cider Vinegar." Most recently, he is slated to appear in the 2025 supernatural horror film "Bring Her Back" as the character Phil. He also works extensively as a national and international voiceover artist and audiobook narrator.Beyond his acting, Stephen Phillips is also the co-artistic director for the globally renowned 5AngryMen Physical Theatre Ensemble and has taught at various training institutions, including the University of Melbourne and the Victorian College of the Arts.
