Sydney Brumfield is an American actress, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles, originally hailing from Philadelphia. Her passion for film led her to attend Ithaca College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in Writing for Film, TV, and Emerging Media. She has been building a career focused on independent short films, often working behind the scenes as a writer and producer in addition to her acting roles. She is currently working at Blumhouse, a major production company known for its horror films, which aligns with her personal interest as a self-professed fan of slasher and horror movies. As an actress, she is known for her work in projects like the 2024 feature film Blood Star, where she plays the leading role of Amy, and the 2024 short film Storytime. She also has writing and producing credits on independent shorts like it would have been easier (2025) and FIEND (2024).
