Tomori Kusunoki

Tomori Kusunoki (楠木ともり, Kusunoki Tomori) is a versatile Japanese voice actress, singer, and songwriter affiliated with Sony Music Artists. Born on December 22, 1999, in Tokyo, Japan, Kusunoki developed an early interest in entertainment, beginning piano lessons at age three and being inspired to become a voice actress by Kana Hanazawa's performance in the anime Kobato. She made her voice acting debut in 2017 and quickly secured her first main role as Kirara in the mobile game Kirara Fantasia. Her career is marked by numerous high-profile roles, including the protagonists Karen "Llenn" Kohiruimaki in Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, Futaba Igarashi in My Senpai Is Annoying, and Natsume in Deca-Dence. She is also widely known for voicing major characters like Makima in Chainsaw Man, Misha Necron in The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Setsuna Yūki in the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club franchise (a role she stepped down from in 2023 due to health concerns), and Shizuka Mikazuki in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. Kusunoki launched her solo music career in 2020 with the EP "Hamidashimono," and she is actively involved as a singer-songwriter, often composing her own music. In 2019, she received the Best New Actress Award at the 13th Seiyū Awards. She was later diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which affects her ability to perform strenuous dance moves during live events.
