Tony Dalton
Tony Dalton (born Álvaro Luis Bernat Dalton on February 13, 1975, in Laredo, Texas, U.S.) is an American and Mexican actor, screenwriter, and producer. The son of an American mother and Mexican father, he grew up in Mexico City and holds dual citizenship. He studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. For much of his career, he has worked in Mexican films and television, with early major roles including the Mexican telenovela Rebelde (2004–2006) and the film Matando Cabos (2004), which he co-wrote. He also wrote and starred in Sultanes del Sur (2007) and led the International Emmy-winning HBO Latin America series Sr. Ávila (2013–2017). Dalton gained significant international recognition for his critically acclaimed portrayal of the antagonist Lalo Salamanca in the AMC series Better Call Saul (2018–2022). Following this success, he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Jack Duquesne / Swordsman in the Disney+ miniseries Hawkeye (2021), a role he is set to reprise in Daredevil: Born Again (2025–present). His other recent and upcoming credits include the film Trap House (2025) and a guest role in the HBO series The Last of Us (2025).
