Trap House 2025
Trap House (2025) is an action-thriller directed by Michael Dowse and starring Dave Bautista as DEA Agent Ray Seale, who, along with his partner Andre Washburn (Bobby Cannavale), finds himself in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse with a mysterious group of thieves operating in El Paso, Texas, who are robbing from a dangerous cartel led by Benito Cabrera (Tony Dalton) and his sister Natalia (Kate del Castillo). The plot takes a sharp turn when Ray discovers the audacious thieves are actually his own rebellious son, Cody Seale (Jack Champion), and his teenage friends, including Deni Matthews-Morales (Sophia Lillis) and Yvonne Reynolds (Whitney Peak), who are using their parents' classified intel and tactical gear to fund a friend whose father, a fallen DEA agent, left the family with poor financial support. Critics generally gave the film a mixed-to-fresh reception, with its Rotten Tomatoes score debuting around 63%, praising the unique concept of fusing a teen-driven heist with a hard-boiled cartel thriller, the performances of Bautista and Cannavale, and the brisk pacing, though some noted issues with tonal inconsistency, plot implausibility, and undercooked character development for some of the younger cast. Released in U.S. theaters on November 14, 2025, the box office figures available shortly after its opening show modest initial worldwide earnings. The film is currently available for streaming on platforms like Fandango at Home (Vudu) for rent or purchase, having been distributed by Aura Entertainment for its domestic theatrical run.

Bad movie. It could have been much better, but didn't happen. The acting and the plot are not good at all. Everything sends staged vibes, gender fluidity it's pretty much obvious it is forced, as a quota or something. I rate it 2 as a movies lover, so people can learn and produce good movies only...
