Zahf Paroo is a Canadian actor, host, voice-over artist, and sketch-comedy performer, born Zahfeer Abdul Mohammed Hajee on December 30, 1975, in Burnaby, British Columbia. He was raised in Vernon, B.C., and graduated with honors in Theatre Arts from Mount Royal College in 1995, later legally changing his professional name to Paroo in 2001, which is his mother's maiden name. His extensive career, which began around 1995, includes notable television roles such as Tyler in Edgemont and Ajay Sharma in the sci-fi series Defying Gravity, alongside numerous guest appearances in series like Stargate SG-1, Battlestar Galactica, Fringe, Altered Carbon, and Once Upon a Time. In film, Paroo is known for roles in pictures like Antitrust, Say It Isn't So, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (as Ned), and Seventh Son (as King of Swords Virahadra).
