Zainab Azizi
Zainab Azizi is a prominent American film producer and executive at Raimi Productions, where she has become a key creative partner to legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi. Growing up with a deep passion for the arts, she began her journey in the entertainment industry without formal film school training or established connections, famously starting her career in the mailroom at the WME talent agency. This "boots-on-the-ground" experience provided her with an insider’s perspective on talent management and project packaging, which eventually led her to transition into production. She is recognized for her dedication to the horror and thriller genres, often focusing on bold, character-driven narratives that challenge traditional tropes. In her role at Raimi Productions, Azizi has been instrumental in developing and producing several high-profile genre films. Her notable credits include the sci-fi survival thriller 65 (2023) starring Adam Driver, the supernatural horror film Umma (2022) featuring Sandra Oh, and the high-octane action-comedy Boy Kills World (2023). More recently, she served as a producer on the Netflix hit Don’t Move (2024) and is currently working on the highly anticipated 2026 survival thriller Send Help.
