A shell-shocking saga of mutants, martial arts, New York mayhem, comic book grit, practical effects wizardry and pizza-fuelled fun.
A shell-shocking saga of mutants, martial arts and New York mayhem, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy brought comic book grit, practical effects wizardry and pizza-fuelled fun to a generation of moviegoers, helping turn four sewer-dwelling brothers into global pop culture icons. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy Limited Edition 4K UHD
Launching in 1990 with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, director Steve Barron’s gritty, high-energy adaptation of the underground comic became a box office phenomenon, fusing martial arts action, streetwise humor and the groundbreaking animatronics of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. The 1991 sequel The Secret of the Ooze is an irresistibly fun second slice: a deep-dive into the turtles’ origins where new mutant foes Tokka and Rahzar are thrown in the mix… double the stakes, double the pizza! Rounding out the trilogy, 1993’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III sends the heroes in a half shell back to feudal Japan in a time-travel adventure full of samurai showdowns, ancient legends and comic chaos.
Restored in glorious 4K and packed with extras, this radical set celebrates the legacy of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael in one of the most iconic franchises of the era, blending innovative effects, comic-book heart and early ’90s attitude.

Do the math and stop complaining.
It is 99msrp. On arrow videos website it is 70. 70÷3movies is about 23.3 dollars per 4k movie. That is a completely reasonable price for a 3pack of 4k movies. Superman steelbook collection is 130 for 5 movies. 130÷5=26 dollars per 4k steelbook. These are more than reasonable prices. And arrow video includes sooo many special features and does the best 4k transfers.

Couldn’t care less about 2 & 3.
The Gold is Part 1. They should’ve kept the same writers and directors from the first one for the rest of the series. Anyway, I’m really glad they’ve used the original 35mm negative to remaster the first in 4K, unlike 2&3 that are getting remastered using original 35mm interpositives in 4K. I cannot wait to see Part 1 like never before. I just hate that it’s coming out in December and priced at a ridiculous price.

OVERPRICED
Like the other revuew says. Insanely over priced. Just order it directly from Arrow video store

Review bombing before release is wrong
$99 is absolutely not absurd. That other review is plain wrong. You get 3 4K disc’s plus Blu-ray copies as well. It’ll absolutely be worth the price.

Boxset looks amazing, but TARIFFS are to blame for the high cost
YES this is overpriced, it’s only £49.99 in the UK so this is a good $50 over what it should be – BUT – what everyone’s ignoring is that Arrow are a UK company, which means to import this boxset to the United States means they get whacked with the presidents tariffs, so anyone upset with the price needs to direct their frustration at the tariffs and NOT at arrow, it’s not their fault

Overpriced
The shadow of greed consumes Arrow video. No way paying $100 for this including TMNT 3 the absolute worst in the trilogy. That movie should be free.

Price may be justified
One person said it was overpriced, but in reality it brings it to a little over $33 a movie which for some 4k movies is average these days. I’m not a big fan of all the limited edition these days and the fear of missing out, but as a physical media collector myself, I think it’s boarder line as far as cost goes. I feel the price is justified as long as its a good transfer and they put the work into it. Arrow video is not known for cheap releases so I’m not surprised. Of coarse I would have liked to see 50 or 60 dollars, but that’s not realistic

should have offered singles as well
They should have released the trilogy in both singles and box set. Most people only want the first movie, while a few want the first and second movies. Next to nobody wants the third movie. The third movie was by far the weakest and most cheaply made movie that even with returning favorites couldnt save.

Finally 4k treatment
It’s funny that people will go out of their way and vote this a 1 star due to the price. Don’t buy it and just get blu rays then if you can’t afford it. Finally these movies are getting 4k treatment, well the 3rd could do without it lol.
