There are big changes brewing in Gotham, but if Batman (Will Arnett) wants to save the city from the Joker’s (Zach Galifianakis) hostile takeover, he may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up. Maybe his superhero sidekick Robin (Michael Cera) and loyal butler Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) can show him a thing or two. The Lego Batman Movie 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman (Will Arnett) – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s (Zach Galifianakis) hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up. The Lego Batman Movie was just so very funny 😉
This movie was cute, fun, funny in a laugh out loud kinda way and all the characters “actors” did a great job using their voices to their utmost potential in this film. I loved the last Lego movie that had Batman with the same actor voicing him. However, this movie was even more funny than that one was. There are jokes in the movie that only adults will get but nothing crude so it is suitable for the whole family. It left me with a big smile on my face and that is what I want in the summer, to be lazy and watch silly & funny movies. This one did all of that and more by teaching a few life lessons for Kids or Adults. Good job to Will Arnett as “Batman” and Michael Cera as “Robin”, lol.

I’m The Lego Batman Movie, I’m Awesome
This movie totally rocks!!!!! I pre-ordered for streaming so I got the email and that night the kiddies and I watched. We really loved this movie. Since that first viewing, I can actually say that I lost count about how many times I have seen it.I have heard people say that the first Lego Movie was better or that this one was better. In my opinion, the only thing that’s the same is that they are Lego movies. The first one is great and was an introduction into what I hope will be many Lego movies but it is self contained. Batman was a character in the Lego Movie. The Batman Lego Movie is a batman movie in Lego form. I am a huge Batman fan and I loved, loved, loved everything about The Batman Lego Movie. My eleven year old even asked me who did this movie because she wanted them to make all of the DC movies because it was so good. Let me reiterate, this is NOT The Lego Movie 2. It is specifically The Batman Lego Movie. This is a movie all about Batman (i.e. his costumes, his gadgets, his alter ego, Robin, his many vehicles, all of his enemies, his moodiness, his arrogance, etc.)I said all of that just to say don’t compare. Each movie is a great stand alone film. They both will have their fans and their critics. It’s okay because every movie is not for everyone. So this review is for every BATMAN fan out there. This little animation is great. The movie has a great little story within and it deals with some internal things that we all struggle with but it s also filled with humor, great one liners, some surprises and little hidden gems that will make you watch the movie over and over again to see what you missed. You may even find yourself quoting lines in your everyday life referencing the movie (i.e. I’m Batman, I’m Awesome, I’ve Got a Nine Pack!)For those that haven’t seen it yet or who are on the fence, give it a chance. It is for all ages. You might really enjoy it.

For all those with 3D equipment, this is breathtakingly beautiful!
Yes, I regretfully admit I bought this 3D-blu-ray some years before but never got around to seeing it. Having one of the largest 3D collections in the world (over 800 3D-blu-rays) I was really captivated by the additional dimension when 3D was hot. Now that 4K with its almost-as-good simulation of 3D has killed off the real thing (yes, I also have many 4Ks!) I still maintain my 3D equipment. I told you all of that to give credence to this claim: THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST 3D MOVIES EVERY MADE.In terms of plot, the action, the depth, the resolution, and the theme… it is so much better than I anticipated. I regret I didn’t watch it years ago when it first came out! But fortunately, it is still available though it requires special equipment to enjoy it. But when projected onto a large screen with a 3D projector, played from a 3D player, viewed with 3D goggles, with a full surround sound system turned up high… wow! It’s an immersive, unique experience! This is a staggering thrill-ride that’s worth watching many times over. It’s not just a chock-a-block kid’s toys movie (though kids drawn into the screen will be mesmerized), but a full-stretch rollercoaster into the dark depth and continued potential of the enigmatic Batman. Just amazing! Home-3D for a time was the highest resolution home format for large projections (1k plus 1k making 2K in the brain), so it’s only right that the twice-as-detailed 4K should supplant it. But losing that extra dimension is not just a quantitative but a qualitative loss. Here you can see not just a 4K simulation of a 3-dimensional simplified Batman, but step into his complex world for real. You’re sucked into the screen! It’s a great ride not only into his chaotic life but his dark soul. To all those who participated in making and supplying this magnificently beautiful 3D-blu-ray I have only one word: BRAVO! (And please make some more for us present day afficionados.)
