The first is very much the best…
I doubt I even need to review Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. If you haven’t heard of it I’m wondering how, and if you have, you’ve likely seen and enjoy it. This original in the series is by far the best. This is when the characters were best, the story the best, and the overall need to see it the highest. I do like some of the others, but nothing like this one…Some of the best scenes are in this entry in the series.Disney has done some other films based on attractions, but Pirates is the one – it is by far the most successful and worthy a view. Not just Johnny Depp’s outstanding Captain Jack Sparrow, but the entire cast, world, and story have taken this ride and turned made it even better.If you don’t see any of the others that’s fine (some are good though), but try not to miss this high seas adventure!

Still the best of the series.
Johnny Depp and the supporting cast outdid themselves in this first movie in the series. Too bad they wasted money on the following movie sequels. Glad we found a replacement for our original purchase that did not survive a visit by the kids. LOL

Lack of Sound on Bonus Content
Outstanding, fun, and totally enjoyable movie. HOWEVER, approximately 85% of the bonus material lacks sound. What looks like the wrap party gag reel has found and the very last section (about 4 minutes) has sound, but that’s about it.What happened to the sound on the Bonus Content? Didn’t get what I paid for.

I liked the movies I liked to watch them over and over again I like Johnny Depp he’s funny I like all the movies I have all of them except one I’m still looking for that one movie dead man tells no tails.

Favorite movie of all time!
Absolutely love this movie. Bought on DVD when it first came out and just bought the digital version too. Rewatch regularly over the years. It’s one of those rare movies that has everything… adventure, mystery, lots of humor, romance, amazing special effects and physical locations, and a rousing musical score. Every single actor is at the top of their game and the script is perfect, with a completely original and unique storyline. And of course, who doesn’t love Johnny Depp as Captain Jack!! His masterpiece of character creation. Deserves 10 stars.
