With You in the Future (Contigo en el futuro) 2025
"With You in the Future" (original Spanish title: "Contigo en el futuro") is a 2025 comedy-romance film directed and written by Roberto Girault. The movie centers on Carlos (Michel Brown) and Elena (Sandra Echeverría), a couple on the verge of signing their divorce papers. However, their plans are interrupted by an unexpected and eccentric visitor who offers them a unique opportunity: a trip back in time to 1994, the year they first met. In this nostalgic journey to the 90s, complete with leather jackets and pop-rock, Carlos and Elena attempt to alter their past and prevent themselves from falling in love in the first place, leading to a series of funny and touching situations as they confront their intertwined destiny. The cast also includes Mariané Cartas as young Elena, Fernando Cattori as young Carlos, and Mauricio Barrientos as Cupido. The film's official release date is February 7, 2025, in the US.
