Adria Arjona

Adria Arjona is an American actress born on April 25, 1992, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is of Puerto Rican and Guatemalan descent, as her mother is Puerto Rican and her father, Ricardo Arjona, is a renowned Guatemalan singer-songwriter. As a child, she lived in Mexico City and often traveled with her father on his music tours, which she credits with giving her a "bohemian lifestyle" and a dislike for being in one place for too long. At the age of 12, she moved to Miami, and at 18, she relocated to New York City on her own to pursue acting. She worked as a waitress and hostess while studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, an experience she says made her stronger and helped her grow up.Arjona began her professional acting career with roles in television series like Person of Interest (2014-2015) and the second season of True Detective (2015). She landed her first lead role as Dorothy Gale in the NBC series Emerald City (2017), a modern, dark reimagining of The Wizard of Oz. Her career has since taken off with a variety of roles in film and television. Her notable film credits include Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), Life of the Party (2018), 6 Underground (2019), Morbius (2022), the romantic comedy Father of the Bride (2022), and the action-comedy Hit Man (2023). In television, she has been praised for her performance as Anathema Device in the miniseries Good Omens (2019) and for her role as Bix Caleen in the Star Wars series Andor (2022-2025). She also stars in the 2025 comedy film Splitsville, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
