Morbius 2022

Michael Morbius is a biochemist born with a very rare and debilitating blood disease. Driven by his condition and compassion for others like him, he pursues a risky cure. The key turn comes when he experiments with bat DNA (specifically from vampire bats) and injects himself with a serum meant to help. Instead, he ends up transforming: he acquires vampire‑like abilities (super strength, echolocation, flight, healing etc.) but also a powerful blood‑lust and other darker traits. As he tries to control these new urges, his childhood friend Lucien (“Milo”) — who suffers from the same disease — becomes increasingly desperate.
