Sherry Cola is a dynamic American actress, comedian, and writer, born in Shanghai, China, on November 10, 1989. Her family moved to the United States when she was four, settling in the San Gabriel Valley, east of Los Angeles. Cola's entertainment career began in radio, where she majored in Entertainment and Tourism Studies at California State University, Fullerton, and worked at the campus radio station, Titan Radio. Post-graduation, she joined AMP Radio 97.1 FM, eventually hosting her own Sunday night show.Transitioning from radio, Cola found success in stand-up comedy and improv, regularly performing at renowned venues like The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store. Her acting career took off with her debut in Amazon's "I Love Dick" in 2017. She gained significant recognition for her role as Alice Kwan, a queer first-generation Chinese American, in the Freeform drama series "Good Trouble" (2019–2024).Cola experienced a breakthrough in 2023 with her starring roles in the critically acclaimed comedies "Joy Ride" and "Shortcomings."
