Yura Borisov (born December 8, 1992, in Reutov, Moscow Oblast, Russia) is a critically acclaimed Russian actor known for his intense and emotionally nuanced performances. He graduated from the Mikhail Shchepkin Higher Theatre School in 2014 and began his acting career in 2010. Borisov gained significant recognition with his portrayal of Anton Bykov in The Bull (2019), earning the title of "Discovery of the Year" by GQ Russia. He further solidified his reputation with roles in Captain Volkonogov Escaped (2021) and the Cannes Grand Prix-winning film Compartment No. 6 (2021), which also earned him a European Film Award nomination.
