Fountain of Youth 2025

You’re likely referring to the brand-new 2025 film Fountain of Youth, a globe-trotting action‑adventure directed by Guy Ritchie, now streaming exclusively on Apple TV+ since May 23, 2025. 🎬 What It's About Starring John Krasinski as Luke Purdue and Natalie Portman as his estranged sister Charlotte, the siblings reunite for a high-stakes treasure hunt to locate the legendary Fountain of Youth. They decipher historical clues embedded in Renaissance art and race against time—and dangerous adversaries—to gain immortality. The supporting cast includes Eiza González, Domhnall Gleeson, Stanley Tucci, Arian Moayed, Carmen Ejogo, and Laz Alonso.🌍 World of Adventure Filmed across multiple countries—including England (London, Liverpool), Egypt (Giza), Austria (Vienna), Thailand (Bangkok), and Italy (Rome/Vatican)—the film delivers sweeping visuals and exotic locales tailored to deliver Indiana Jones‑style thrills. With a runtime of approximately 125 minutes, the movie takes you through art thefts, underwater exploration aboard the Lusitania wreck, and globe-hopping puzzles.✅ Release & Viewing Info Premiere: Worldwide on Apple TV+, exclusively released via streaming—no theatres. Launch specific: available starting May 23 at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET.🎭 Critics Mixed to negative reviews overall: critics called it derivative, shallow, and heavily reminiscent of classic adventure flicks like Indiana Jones and National Treasure. Scenes and themes felt formulaic, with some calling out the film as lacking originality or emotional weight. While visually engaging and fast-paced with some light-hearted caper moments, the writing and cast chemistry—including Krasinski and Portman—were widely considered underwhelming. Dialogue and narrative stakes failed to resonate deeply.🤔 Who Might Like It? Adventure lovers craving escapism and exotic locations Fans of family‑centric heist or treasure hunt stories Viewers looking for a light‑and‑fun action flick, not a cerebral cinematic experience🎥 Conclusion Fountain of Youth delivers in spectacle and scenery, offering big‑screen energy from a small‑screen release. That said, it falls short of its potential beneath a veneer of familiar tropes. If you’ve exhausted classics like Indiana Jones or National Treasure and want something in the same vein with modern flair, it might keep you entertained. But if you demand originality or deeper storytelling, this one may miss the mark.

Wants to be National Treasure meets mission impossible but its neither. Far fetched and lazy writing. The main characters are treasure hunters with all the money needed to anything that comes along. They are wanted by police in multiple countries but fly about on planes and travel to major tourist locations with ease and are happy to use their names while committing international crimes without a care in the world. In fact they are so care free that Natalie Portmans bring her child along for the Journey. If a character needs a chocolate banana and foam finger to solve a puzzle don't worry they will have packed one cause somehow they would have known to pack some. The action is watchable. The locations are fantastic, but the acting and story is meh. If your bored and have a few hours to spare then stick it on. I'm just glad I didn't pay the mortgage repayment level costs of a cinema trip to see this damp squib.
