Prisoner of War 2025

Prisoner of War (2025) is an action-thriller-war film directed by Louis Mandylor. The movie, which was formerly titled Death March, is based on a story written by its star, Scott Adkins, and Marc Clebanoff. The film takes place during World War II and follows British RAF Wing Commander James Wright (Adkins), who is shot down during the Battle of Bataan in the Philippines and captured by Japanese forces. Wright is taken to a Japanese POW camp where the sadistic Lieutenant Colonel Ito (Peter Shinkoda) forces his prisoners to participate in brutal death matches for the entertainment of their captors. With his extensive training in martial arts, Wright becomes a formidable and defiant opponent, turning his captivity into a battleground and a symbol of hope for his fellow prisoners. The cast also includes Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone as Captain Collins and Michael Copon as Villanueva. Prisoner of War had festival screenings in April and August 2025 before its VOD release on September 19, 2025, in the United States by Well Go USA Entertainment.
