Shelter 2026

Shelter is an action-thriller scheduled for release in the United States and the United Kingdom on January 30, 2026. Directed by Ric Roman Waugh (Greenland, Angel Has Fallen) and written by Ward Parry, the film stars Jason Statham as Mason, a reclusive man living in self-imposed exile on a remote Scottish island. The plot is set in motion when Mason rescues a young girl (played by Bodhi Rae Breathnach) from a deadly storm at sea, an act of compassion that inadvertently triggers a violent chain of events. As enemies from his mysterious past emerge to threaten them, Mason is forced to abandon his isolation and use his lethal skills to protect the child. The supporting cast includes acclaimed actors Bill Nighy, Naomi Ackie, and Daniel Mays. Produced by Black Bear Pictures and Statham’s own Punch Palace Productions, the film features a musical score by David Buckley and has a runtime of approximately 107 minutes.
