The Life List 2025

The Life List presents a familiar yet comforting narrative of self-discovery, fueled by a unique inheritance: a childhood "life list." While some critics point out its predictable plot and reliance on well-worn romantic drama tropes, others highlight the film's warmth and the genuine chemistry between its leads, Sofia Carson and Kyle Allen. Connie Britton delivers a particularly strong performance, adding emotional depth to the story. The film explores themes of grief, personal growth, and the importance of reconnecting with one's aspirations, offering viewers a gentle reminder of life's simple truths. Although it may not break new cinematic ground, "The Life List" provides a satisfying and emotionally resonant experience for those seeking a heartwarming story.

A bucket (life) list with a twist , as being part of the terms of an inheritance. Yes it's a predicatable love story, but if you like the genre, the journey is very pleasant . The pace and acting is consistent throughout, it kept me entertained without peaks or troughs, a consistent quality of story telling. If you likke films like 'Love Actually' or 'Notting Hill' then I suspect you will enjoy this for an evening's entertainment with a glass of wine. Solid 7.5/10 and I could watch it again at a later date. A good old fashioned love story and finding oneself . If you're looking for action, violence, sex and swearing, this is definitely not a film for you .
