We Bury the Dead 2025

We Bury the Dead is a survival thriller and zombie drama written and directed by Zak Hilditch, which had its world premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in March 2025 before its wider theatrical rollout in early 2026. The story is set in the immediate aftermath of a catastrophic military experiment in Tasmania, where an accidental detonation of an experimental weapon kills nearly everyone on the island.
