Honeymoon Crasher 2025
Honeymoon Crasher, originally titled Lune de miel avec ma mère, is a French comedy film directed by Nicolas Cuche, which premiered on Netflix on February 12, 2025. The story centers around Lucas (Julien Frison), a young man who is left heartbroken when his fiancée Elodie dumps him at the altar for her ex. With a non-refundable honeymoon to Mauritius already booked, Lucas's overbearing mother, Lily (Michèle Laroque), decides to accompany him. To make the most of the luxurious package intended for a couple, Lily convinces the resort staff that they are newlyweds, leading to a series of humorous misunderstandings and awkward situations. As they navigate this unconventional trip, Lucas and Lily unexpectedly rediscover their bond and confront their individual issues, with Lucas learning to be more independent and Lily reassessing her role as a mother and wife.
