The 2025 animated television special, Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol ❄️, is the fourth installment in the Prep & Landing franchise, produced by Disney Television Animation. It premiered on November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving night) on the Disney Channel and became available for streaming on Disney+ the following day. The plot centers on Christmas elves Wayne and his partner Lanny, elite members of the Prep & Landing team who prepare homes for Santa's arrival. After one of their recent holiday missions goes completely awry, Wayne, convinced he's in major trouble with Santa, issues the highly-classified "Snowball Protocol"—a pact to never speak of the disastrous mission again. However, when Santa calls Wayne into his office, Lanny has already dropped a hint about "some kind of secret." To deflect and avoid revealing their recent mishap, Wayne begins to recount two other previous, equally chaotic, and still-secret missions he and Lanny were involved in: an off-season incident where they lost Magee's pet arctic seal pup, Nog, and a tropical vacation where Wayne's attempt to help Command Center Coordinator Magee relax resulted in North Pole chaos.
