Now You See Me: Now You Don't 2025
Released on November 14, 2025, the third installment of the magic-heist franchise, officially titled Now You See Me: Now You Don't, brings the Four Horsemen back to the big screen after a nearly ten-year hiatus. Directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland, Venom), the film picks up a decade after the events of the second movie, finding the original team—J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), and Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher)—living in obscurity until they are drawn back into the world of high-stakes illusion by a new generation of magicians. The story centers on a trio of young, tech-savvy illusionists—Charlie (Justice Smith), Bosco (Dominic Sessa), and June (Ariana Greenblatt)—who use cutting-edge deepfakes and holograms to pull off digital heists, including draining a corrupt cryptocurrency exchange. The Horsemen are recruited by Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman) and Dylan Shrike (Mark Ruffalo) to mentor these "apprentices" to take down a far more dangerous threat: Veronika Vanderberg (Rosamund Pike), an icy diamond mogul running a global money-laundering syndicate. The film culminates in a massive, multi-layered performance in Amsterdam that blurs the lines between digital deception and classic sleight of hand. Returning favorites also include Lizzy Caplan as Lula May, ensuring both the original and second-film lineups are represented. Financially, the film has had a steady run, grossing approximately $214.3 million worldwide as of mid-December 2025. While it fell short of the $300M+ benchmarks set by its predecessors, it was considered a financial success against its $90 million budget. Domestically, it earned roughly $60.3 million, leading the box office during its opening weekend before facing stiff competition from holiday blockbusters. As of December 16, 2025, it became available for VOD (Video on Demand) on platforms like: Amazon Prime Video (Rent/Buy), Apple TV / iTunes, Google TV & YouTube, Fandango at Home. Streaming rights for subscription services (like Peacock or Starz) are expected to follow in early 2026, depending on regional licensing deals.
