Good Fortune is a 2025 American supernatural comedy film that marks Aziz Ansari's feature directorial debut, which he also wrote and stars in. The film centers on Arj (Aziz Ansari), a struggling gig worker living in his car, and a well-meaning but somewhat inept angel named Gabriel (Keanu Reeves), whose celestial duties typically involve preventing accidents caused by texting and driving. Gabriel, seeking a more significant purpose, decides to intervene in Arj's life after he hits rock bottom, having been fired by a wealthy, self-absorbed venture capitalist named Jeff (Seth Rogen). Gabriel's plan is to swap Arj's life with Jeff's, intending to prove to Arj that money doesn't solve all problems. However, the plan backfires when Arj is ecstatic with his newfound wealth and refuses to switch back, leading to Gabriel being demoted to human status by his boss Martha (Sandra Oh) until he can fix the situation.
