My Secret Santa 2025

My Secret Santa is a 2025 American Christmas romantic comedy film set to be released on Netflix on December 3, 2025. Directed by Mike Rohl, the movie centers on Taylor Jacobson (played by Alexandra Breckenridge), a vivacious single mother who desperately needs money to send her teenage daughter, Zoey (Madison MacIsaac), to an elite snowboarding camp at the Sun Peaks ski resort. After losing her job, Taylor overhears the high pay for the resort's seasonal Santa and, with the help of her friends and a full prosthetic makeover, she disguises herself as an older man named "Hugh Mann" to secure the job, which also comes with a staff discount on the academy fees. The comedy of disguise is likened to a reverse Mrs. Doubtfire. Complications arise when Taylor begins to develop feelings for her boss, the handsome and recently appointed General Manager of the resort, Matthew Layne (Ryan Eggold), who also happens to be a fan of Taylor's former life as the lead singer of a punk band. Taylor's best friend, Natasha (Tia Mowry), who works at the resort and helped with the disguise, grows suspicious, and the growing connection between Taylor (as "Hugh Mann") and Matthew threatens to expose her elaborate hoax. The story, written by Ron Oliver and Carley Smale, is a lighthearted holiday flick exploring themes of family support, new beginnings, and vulnerability, with Alexandra Breckenridge's performance as both Taylor and Santa being a key highlight.
