Sarah's Oil is a 2025 American biographical drama film, inspired by the remarkable true story of Sarah Rector, who became one of the nation's first female African American millionaires at the age of eleven. Set in 1910s Oklahoma during the oil boom, the film centers on young Sarah, an African American girl who receives a 160-acre land allotment, which many dismiss as worthless.
