Directed by Dylan Southern and adapted from Max Porter’s award-winning novella Grief Is the Thing with Feathers, The Thing with Feathers (2025) is a surrealist drama that explores the visceral, chaotic nature of mourning. The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as "Dad," a recently widowed illustrator living in a London apartment with his two young sons (played by real-life brothers Richard and Henry Boxall).
