Anaconda 2025
The 2025 film Anaconda is not a direct remake or continuation of the original 1997 horror film, but rather a meta-comedy reboot that serves as a playful homage to the cult classic. Directed by Tom Gormican (known for The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent) and co-written by Gormican and Kevin Etten, the film stars Jack Black as Doug and Paul Rudd as Griff, two childhood best friends facing a midlife crisis. The plot follows the hapless duo, who have always dreamed of remaking their favorite movie, 1997's Anaconda.
